Each summer camp session explores a different theme: Enchanted Forest, Abstract and Pop Artmaking, Coral Reef, and Fantastical Animals.
Each camp offers multi-media art exploration in a beautiful outdoor studio in small groups (up to 12). For kids who love art, summer camps are a great opportunity to deep dive into a theme and create special projects that take longer, such as paper mache sculptures, multi-media assemblages, and artworks.
Daily schedule:
1:00-1:15 pm: Check in and drop off your child.
1:15-2:45 pm: First Artmaking session.
2:45-3:00 pm: Snack in the Garden.
3:00-4:00 pm: Second Artmaking session.
4:00 pm: Pick up your child.
All camps are taught by teaching artist and educator Geraldine Otte in her private studio/ home, Artstudio 4 Kids. Depending on how many students are registered, Mrs. Otte is assisted by one or two counselors.
All Summer art camps are held in the outdoor studio space and the Garden space.
On the last day of each weekly session, families are invited to attend a mini art show (at pick-up time, 4:00pm) to enjoy everyone's art and learn about the process of the artwork created. Your young artists will be very proud to show off their work!
