Artstudio 4 Kids stands out with its unique learning environment, offering small group art instruction for up to 12 students. Our outdoor patio studio provides ample space and a fresh outdoor experience, while our indoor studio provides a warm and stimulating learning environment on rainy and cold days.
Our morning or after-school classes, grades K-2 and Grades 3-7, are 90 minutes long and blend fine art techniques with your child's creative expression. We discuss aspects of art history (the masters), contemporary artists, and the elements of art (line, space, color, balance, etc.) while letting them run with their own imagination. We mix and balance age-appropriate projects with creative ideas for the young artist. We paint, draw, sculpt (air dry clay), use fine-art materials like liquid watercolors, tempera + acrylic paints, and paint on canvas provided in class. These are drop-off classes.
Morning classes run from 10:30am-12:00pm, with a K-2 group on Tuesdays and a grades 3-7 on Thursdays. A minimum of 5 registered students is needed.
