Artstudio 4 kids is looking for Studio assistant/ aides.

Experience/Skills
- Experience working with children (teaching, childcare, camps, or similar).
- Comfortable with basic art supplies and techniques.
- Ability to follow directions to pass out materials and support lead teacher as needed.
- Strong communication skills with Students and parents.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, carry materials to set up and clean-up for 2-3 hours.
Personal qualities
- Patient and encouraging with students of all skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Detail oriented for material prep, set-up, clean-up.
- Flexible and adaptable when plans change.
- Team player who can take direction well.
Logistics
- Available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 2:00-6:00pm
- Comfortable working in a creative environment
You will be responsible for
- Setting up the studio space and art materials before each class.
- Assisting students during art projects and providing encouragement and support.
- Supporting main teacher during class with classroom management and flow.
- Supporting cleanup and organization after each session.
- Preparing student artwork for art show display.
- Creating a positive, supportive atmosphere for all students.
Compensation and benefits
- Starting pay at $17-$19 per hour based on experience.
- Paid training provided.
